The Beare Bungalow was my first old house, and the reason I work in the restoration field today. Working on the house with the Beare family was not only a learning experience, but a true labor of love!
The Roller Restoration in San Jose, CA. Work done by the previous owner was left unfinished for 10 years, leaving the siding exposed to the elements. The house is now a bright spot in the neighborhood!
"Girls With Hammers" started as a challenge to see if three adults could teach carpentry basics to two 13 year old girls! While we were allowed to use power tools, the girls were restricted to hammers, saws, and screwdrivers. Several days of fun and hard work resulted in a new set of barn doors for the Rosners!
